History and culture combine
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Dame Nellie Melba was one of Australia’s key cultural exports, singing for crowds in London, Paris, and New York. For a time, however, Dame Nellie resided right here, in the Yarra Valley, at Coombe Cottage, one of the loveliest landscaped gardens in Victoria.
