YARRA VALLEY – AMAZING EXPERIENCE
From the very beginning of booking the tour several months before we did the tour Paul was amazing to deal with. Paul responded quickly to questions. Leading up to the day of the tour and on the day of the tour Paul communicated with us about the weather forecast and had umbrellas ready for us. He met us at Station Pier Melbourne and his Mercedes V Class vehicle was so comfortable for the six of us. We had morning tea in Healesville then off to the Four Pillars Gin Distillery at Healesville for tasting. The story of how Four Pillars started and the gin, staff and location were great. Then off to Rochford Winery for an absolutely delicious lunch followed by wine tasting. After that to Chocolaterie then back to the ship. We were advised the day before we docked the ship was disembarking earlier and Paul accommodated the earlier departure. If you are in Melbourne highly recommend Paul. Amazing day
We went on the Grampian’s and Great Ocean Road 3 day tour after our friends couldn’t stop talking about the trip they had with Melbourne Elite Tours. Our expectations were high but from the minute we were picked up at our hotel to being dropped back at the completion of the tour, our friend’s praise was justified.
Our driver (Paul) couldn’t have done more to make us comfortable and relaxed. His knowledge of the places we went was great as well as his choices of hotels and places to eat. He even insisted on taking our bags to our room each night. Nothing was too much trouble and every detail was taken care of.
Every stop was so amazing, we were never rushed and doing the Great Ocean Road in reverse was brilliant as there weren’t many people at each stop. Paul was always happy to take as many selfies for us as we wanted!
We couldn’t recommend Melbourne Elite Tours highly enough and when we come back to Melbourne we will certainly be booking with them again.
We wanted to spend our anniversary in beautiful surroundings with great food and wine and being pampered with a spa treatment. Not being from Victoria, Margaret from Melbourne Elite Tours recommended the Daylesford and Macedon region. She booked our accommodation in the city and organised the tour. On the day of our anniversary we were greeted by Paul in an immaculate Mercedes and a surprising glass of champagne to kick off the tour. Our first stop was at Hanging Rock. The short walk up to the top was worth the effort with stunning views across the valley. It definitely had that eerie feel about it reminiscing about the famed book. We didn’t have the picnic but the lunch at the Lake House is something we will always remember. Indulging in a spa treatment afterwards and then exploring the shops on Vincent Street in Daylesford was pure delight. To add to our delight, when being dropped back at the hotel that night Paul produced a box of chocolates and a lovely anniversary card. The attention to detail, constant surprises and nothing is too much trouble service from Melbourne Elite Tours is what makes them stand out so much. When we head back to Melbourne again we will be using them again!
Spent a delightful 4 days in the High Country seeing the stunning autumn colours, eating scrumptious meal after meal, staying in lovely accommodation and being completely spoiled by Paul. We knew Beechworth and Bright would be beautiful but they were better than we imagined. What came as an unexpected delight were the towns of Benalla and Myrtleford. Benalla’s many murals on the buildings and the artwork on the silos were amazing. Myrtleford was a great town to wander through and eat in. We ate far too much in the King Valley but it was worth the food coma!
Looking at all the pics Paul sent us, it was surprising just how much we saw and did in the 4 days but it never seemed rushed and everything was so luxurious. We can’t wait to do another tour with Melbourne Elite Tours, they look after you like you are royalty!
Had a wonderful girls day out in the Yarra Valley being thoroughly spoiled by Paul as our wonderful guide. Got picked up on time at our address in a spotless Mercedes. The wineries we stopped at were beautiful and the private tastings were delicious and informative. Lunch at Tarra Warra was divine! Enjoyed the ice creams Paul got us at the Chocolaterie and the snacks along the way. Still can’t work out how there was a bottle of our favourite wine waiting for us in the car when the tour ended, totally unexpected and a great way to finish the day!
Did a tour to Phillip Island with Melbourne Elite Tours. The day was brilliant, Paul took such great care of our elderly parents. The ranger guide talk and the private viewing area made the viewing of the penguins so much better.
I don’t usually write reviews of companies but felt I should with Melbourne Elite Tours. Had a lovely day visiting the Macedon Ranges gardens with Paul as our driver. Even though it rained at times we loved it. Paul provided umbrellas for us so we could stay dry as we walked around the magical gardens. Lunch was wonderful too! Would highly recommend Melbourne Elite Tours.
Recently we took a Melbourne Day Tour with our overseas relatives. Paul is an excellent host and driver, professional, attentive and knowledgeable. The tour was conducted at a pace enabling our 94yo to easily see the sights of Melbourne. The vehicle was great for access, viewing and comfort. Morning tea and lunch were superb. The pictures Paul took were of great value to us. We would definitely recommend Melbourne Elite Tours to all.

Great day, super lunch, treated as elite, thanks so much Paul. We also did the Mornington Peninsula tour, it was just as good.
Favourite part was Sovereign Hill, could have spent the entire day there. The meal at Craig’s Hotel was divine and the ambience superb. Transport was very comfortable, highly recommended day trip.
A great day out today with Paul from Melbourne Elite Tours, to Ballarat & the many things to see & do there. Great vehicle for travel, loved our experiences at Sovereign Hill, including morning tea & the underground gold mining tour, great to visit the art gallery & Botanical gardens in Ballarat also & our lunch at the Gallery, Craig’s Royal Hotel was amazing……excellent food, service & ambience; would highly recommend it.

My family just got back from a 5 day tour of Victoria with Melbourne Elite Tours. The whole trip was brilliant. We loved visiting all the famous places including the Grampians (love coming back here), the Great Ocean Road, the wineries in Mornington Peninsula and Cape Schanck, Phillip Island and a charming train ride on Puffing Billy in the Dandenongs.
Thanks so much Paul for making this trip such an amazing experience! Would highly recommend this trip to anyone. Paul has so many interesting adventure stories. Ask him about Everest.
Paul picked me up from my StKilda hotel and to my surprise I was the only guest on his tour. Paul took me to an amazing wildlife park where we had morning tea included after seeing the koalas etc then on to a seal watching area. Then dinner on Phillip island also included with icecream to follow then on to the amazing penguins.
Returning to St Kilda near midnight it was the best day.

For over 700 km in 3 days Paul was consistently informative, professional and attentive to our needs. We visited Sovereign Hill for a fascinating mine tour, into the Grampians with its stunning lookouts, down to Halls Gap and then along the Great Ocean Road. Paul was always ready with stories and history of the areas visited. Very good accommodation and wonderful lunches provided. Overall an excellent tour that added immensely to our visit from Canada. We’d definitely recommend this tour.
My friends and I did a three day private tour with this company. The tour included the Grampians and the Great Ocean Road in southern Australia. The trip was fantastic! Paul our guide was an experienced planner and excellent tour guide. Our accommodations were outstanding. We traveled in a new Mercedes van that was very comfortable. I highly recommend this company! You will not be sorry.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the three -day tour that Paul assembled for us. The variety of sites and all the viewpoints for spectacular scenery ( especially along the Great Ocean Road from Bay of Islands east towards Melbourne were first-rate. The accommodations and meal arrangements were excellent.
One highlight for us how much we enjoyed our trek to the Pinnacle to enjoy the magnificent view from there. Paul added it in because the an Indigenous site that we would have visited had been closed and had not yet re-opened in time for us. He felt we were up for it and we were.
If you feel up to it, reaching the Pinnacle is worth the effort especially for the view at the top. It is a nice option to keep in mind. We did it and we are 67 and 70 years old.
We were so impressed with Paul. During the three-day period, and during meals or in transit in the van, he had several great stories to tell about his employment background and the varied outdoor activities he had done. It made for interesting conversation especially while travelling in the back country as we headed west and then south to join the Great Ocean Road.
Another notable aspect for us was the selection of music that Paul has onboard his most comfortable van. He turned on his playlist and, in addition to enjoying the songs, we would guess the song and the artist as we are trivia buffs. If you take a tour with Paul be sure to ask to hear his music while on the longer stretches of travel.
The tour was everything we hoped it would be (and more) and certainly worth the cost we paid. Paul conducted the tour flawlessly and was always attentive to our needs and flexible as required. We feel that met Paul as a driver and tour guide and we said goodbye to him after three days as a friend.
My wife and I highly recommend Melbourne Elite Tours for anyone interested in exploring the Melbourne area in a most relaxed and enjoyable way. You won’t be disappointed.
