Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road is widely known as one of the world’s most spectacular coastline drives and a bucket list destination any time of the year. Stretching over 240 kilometres the road hugs majestic coastal cliffs, pristine white sand beaches and breath taking rain forests.

The road starts at Torquay with the Memorial Arch, the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. From here the road hugs the coast all the way to Apollo Bay, making stops at Kennett River to view koalas in their natural habitat and to visit the bustling town of Lorne.

The road then heads inland through lush green semi temperate rain forest and refreshing waterfalls. Leaving the green behind we emerge into the limestone cliffs of the Shipwreck Coast. Get a close up view of these truly amazing rock formations by taking the 80 steps down to the beach at the Gibson Steps before arriving at the iconic 12 Apostles.

Take to the skies in a helicopter flight to get a bird’s eye view of these huge monoliths and breathtaking coastline. It’s a magical experience that will stick in the memory for a lifetime.
